Limo Restaurant

Limo has been open in what used to be the Cameo Cafe spot on Westover, for almost 5 months now. How I have not heard so much as a peep about it is beyond me, given the quality of the food I have had. Perhaps, the location is a killer, parking is non existent and it really is hidden.

Ceviches and skewers and Dinner Entrees are the star of this show. The "tapas" or Piqueos as they are called in Peru, are less interesting. Ceviches are comprised of high quality, and really fresh fishes. The citrus is nice and prominent, and if you want even more there is a little shot glass of the dressing served with your ceviche, a nice touch! A few of the ceviches can deliver quite a hit of spice, the Three Chiles version is the best example of this.

I have only had the beef skewer, but there are only two skewers on the menu, the other being a mushroom/Eggplant. Really nice beef, that tastes of smoked/roasted peppers and other sweeter and herbacious spices, that I am just not familiar enough to identify. I should have asked, but failed to. Pretty tasty, none the less!

It's nice to have another good westside spot where good seafood can be had! I can easily see this place slipping into my rotation.
