Not a finalist but a winner. That's them. The ten.

Well, we had our 7th anniversary dinner at Beast last night, and I feel that the title is completely warranted.

Her menus and execution are so full of care, while still maintaining a sensual balance that it is just an altogether rich experience eating at Beast. That was seriously some of the best food I've eaten in Portland (or anywhere, really). Now, I don't have the funds or the constitution to eat a 5 course menu, paired with excellent wines like that too often, but I am overjoyed that we number Beast among our Portland Gems, and when the occasion does permit, I would head back there in a heartbeat.

Congrats go out to Naomi indeed.
