I voted no, as it would not ever occur to me to order one. Is this a common thing?

It's most common in Baltimore and New York City, and it's essentially akin to Portland and San Francisco's shot of Fernet. I guess the difference, though, is that I actually drink Fernet at home, whereas I'm not exactly cracking open a jar of Vlasic.

Though I require pickles with curry and stuff like that, for the contrasting taste/texture (even better than kimchi)

Let me clarify: The burn is part of the experience. Why would you want to take that away? Unless it's burning because it's crap in which case I'll pass altogether d:

Similarly, the salt/acid shot is also part of the experience. Why wouldn't you want to add it?

I'm not going to sit here and defend the pickleback as some form of high art or lost treasure. I kinda just wanna get trashed and would likely order a duckfart if that's what it came down to.
