The Feast of San Giuseppe

(Nostrana)

As the legend goes, a terrible drought struck Sicily in the Middle Ages, and all the locals prayed to San Giuseppe in the hopes that he would save them. At midnight on March 19th, their prayers were answered when rain replenished the dry Sicilian fields, making them green once again. San Giuseppe’s intercession has long been celebrated across Italy with a full table, and bounty of fresh food for all.

We’re celebrating at Nostrana with a bread altar, special dishes and cream puffs!

Now that’s a sandwich!

(L O V E J O Y B A K E R S)

This big boy (not the one in the blue sweater) is our Roast Turkey on Multigrain. Easily one of our most popular sandwiches, we brine and roast a natural turkey breast, slice it just right and then add ripe avocado, bacon, mascarpone & housemade cranberry chutney.

To all you "Honey'd Yogurt" fans out there, Professor Simmons, master of all things granola and fruit-art, will be taking a two week sabbatical following this weekend, so get yourself into study hall when you can.

It's spring break y'all, even the most dedicated teachers need to take a break now and again.
