In a city full of breakfast options, Broder is probably my favorite. There are distinctly Scandinavian items like the
aebelskiver (round Danish pancakes) as well as the Swedish
pytt i panna hash with smoked trout. Here are some pics from breakfast this morning.
GF got the seasonal bord, featuring an array of items like a soft boiled egg, a cup of yogurt & honey, some ham, roasted squash and rye bread. This dish is also nice to order if you wanna share it with the table.

I got one of the baked scrambles, the jordbruken, which has caramelized onions, potatoes and bacon. Not pictured is the potato pancake that I got on the side.

I still have yet to make it to dinner here, so that's definitely on my list.
As part of the House Spirits Gammal Krogstad release, there'll be a dinner at Broder on Saturday, the 26th of September at 6pm. It'll be a prix-fixe dinner paired with aquavit and beer. Seating is limited, so call Broder to make a reservation.
