Byways Cafe

Byways Cafe is unlike the rest of the Pearl because it was there first. The place serves hearty food with a loveable amount of kitsch thrown in with the decor. Weekend breakfast can sometimes be a wait, but it is Portland, after all. But in addition the omelets and other breakfast items, don't miss the baked goods like the cookies and cakes.
