Ha&VL Sandwich and Soup goes beyond serving excellent banh mi (using bread from nearby Lanvin Bakery): they also serve the best Vietnamese coffee in Portland as well as a daily selection of soup. These daily soup specials are popular, though, and often sell out by 1pm.
